Structure & Oversight

Our Dual-Governance Model

We divide strategy and operations between our volunteer-led US Board of Directors and our local Ugandan field team to support legal integrity and strong on-the-ground impact.

US Board

Stewardship & Governance

Our United States team operates on a volunteer-led basis, managing compliance, donor stewardship, and strategic alignment.

  • Financial Integrity: Manages tax-exempt status, processes donor funds, and reviews field expenditures.
  • Material Support: Coordinates direct shipment of educational supplies, clothing, and essential materials to Masaka.
  • Strategic Oversight: Sets long-term capital expansion priorities, such as classroom construction and well drilling.
Ugandan Field Team

Execution & Care

Led by founder Ssengoba Stephen, our local staff manages daily community protection, education, and development projects.

  • Daily Child Care: Operates His Grace Junior School, oversees teacher curriculum, and coordinates child welfare.
  • Agricultural Self-Reliance: Operates the HGFP Farm, producing local maize, beans, and livestock to feed children and build skills.
  • Community Integration: Manages localized borehole usage, advocates for orphan protection, and coordinates health programs.

Constructing permanent brick school buildings to replace iron-sheet shelters and drilling deep-well boreholes for safe community drinking water.

Chronology of Local Impact

2018

A Shared Struggle

Drawing from his personal childhood struggles in Masaka, founder Ssengoba Stephen starts providing shelter and hot meals to street orphans in Nyendo.

2020

Junior School Foundation

Established temporary iron-sheet classrooms to provide free primary education and nutritional support for 50 Masaka children.

2022

US Strategic Alignment

Formed a volunteer US advisory board to support fundraising, legal compliance, and donor stewardship.

2024

Agriculture & Water Initiative

Drilled the Samaliya community well for clean groundwater and established the HGFP crop farm to secure children's daily meals.

2026

Permanent Brick Classrooms

Began Phase 2 expansion to build permanent brick school classrooms, aiming to transition all children into safe, modern environments.
